As an Environmental Services Floor Technician, you will help create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. This role is a great steppingstone to other careers within Environmental Services and departments within Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Responsibilities

Create a sanitary, safe environment and enhance the appearance of the facility.
Clean assigned areas daily.
Maintain hard floor surfaces by stripping, refinishing, mopping, buffing and auto-scrubbing.
Maintain carpets with shampoo, extraction, gum removal and daily maintenance.
Complete waste stream removal, general waste, recycling, infectious waste, etc.
