About The Position

Begin a new profession with Trinity Health in Grand Rapids! We are looking for top talent to become part of our team! We will provide you with on-the-job training for: Hospital Housekeeping/Environmental Services Tech in Grand Rapids for Part-Time and Full-time. Second, shifts are available based on availability. Housekeeper / Custodian / Janitor / Environmental Services Tech level 1 and 2 depending on availability. 2nd shift- 5:00PM to 1:30 AM Mon thru Friday- 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. All positions work every other weekend and rotating holidays. Position Summary: Provides a clean and safe work environment for patients, visitors, hospital staff and self. Cleans patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment. Why Trinity Health? Requirements

• Ability to treat each patient, visitor, and employee in a courteous and compassionate manner.
• Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions, receive and understand directions.
• Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied workloads.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service training or environmental services experience in hotel, recreation, or healthcare housekeeping industry

Responsibilities

• Wall cleaning, stairwell and elevator cleaning, curtain removal/re-hanging, response to service calls, etc.
• Performs various restorative floor care.
• Operates basic functions of a pager and phone system.
• Room turnover including daily and check-out cleaning.
• Retrieves beds from various areas of hospital and transports them to a room.
