About The Position

The EVS Team Lead makes sure that our housekeeping team has everything they need to make our small hospital shine! You will lead your team of 3 housekeepers to clean patient rooms and common areas in this beautiful facility. This is a working position, so you will work alongside your team and also be responsible for inspections and scheduling. Use your leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous leadership experience
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Create the work schedule for your team and assign daily tasks
• Order supplies
• Clean and stock patient rooms and common areas
• Inspect rooms to make sure our very high cleanliness standards are met
• Works with nursing staff to anticipate and prepare for new admissions
• Assists with new hire orientation
