Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year of environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and adapt to changing routines based on client needs.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient in using personal computers and software (MS Office Suite).
Must have visual ability sufficient to read and complete written correspondence, reports, etc., and computer screen information.
Frequent use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel.
Regular standing, walking, sitting, and reaching.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Ability to drive to all Easterseals centers and service sites within a 100-mile radius, as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an office or healthcare environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain therapy rooms, client kitchen areas, bathrooms, and other assigned spaces, ensuring infection control and safety by organizing equipment and resources.
Bio-hazardous Material Management: Collect, transport, and dispose of bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
Supply and Inventory Management: Stock and organize cleaning supplies, first aid kits, evaluation, and testing materials. Maintain cleaning schedules and food storage protocol binders. Assist with supply ordering and pick-up.
Safety and Compliance: Identify and report safety hazards to the supervisor. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.
