Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related applied science.
  • Minimum 1 year of environmental consulting experience.
  • Experience with field work, data evaluation, technical writing, and QA/QC.
  • Working knowledge of due diligence, site investigation, remediation, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience implementing health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to pass drug screen, motor vehicle background check, and lift 50 lbs.
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER training with 8-hour annual refresher.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, scientific evaluation, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations for subsurface investigation projects throughout, including all aspects of the project life cycle such as proposal generation, technical execution and reporting.
  • Execute project work appropriate for experience level related to due diligence, site investigation and characterization, remediation, and related environmental consulting areas.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop new clients and expand services provided to existing clients.
  • Actively participate in professional and technical organizations appropriate for core skill set and client needs.
  • Prepare reports by assisting with data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation, and comparison to state and/or federal environmental regulatory standards.
  • Positively interact with internal and external clients, service partners, and contractors.
  • Promote a safety-first culture that values proactive measures and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other team members toward a common goal of providing client-centric services with high quality interactions and deliverables.
