About the Role Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Technicians to join our Environmental Services team. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors throughout our hospital campus and facilities. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the hospital and related buildings.
- Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently.
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hospital laundry.
- Maintain floors by vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing using specialized equipment.
- Clean and prepare patient rooms upon discharge.
- Complete assigned duties with patient safety and infection control as top priorities.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
