About The Position

HEARTLINE STAFFING, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an EP Technologist Electrophysiology Tech for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Position Summary:
The EP Technologist assists physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures while operating specialized equipment and supporting patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional EP cases. This role prioritizes patient safety, technical accuracy, and clinical excellence while working with adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted EP Technologist license or certification for the position you are applying for
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care Electrophysiology Tech experience required
• Associate Degree required
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist RCES or
• Registered Radiographer ARRT with Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• Strong technical skills and patient-focused care approach

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate EP lab equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform examinations and monitoring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment during all procedures.
• Support efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes within the EP lab.
• Uphold clinical protocols and safety standards at all times.
