About The Position

We are actively seeking an EPA Regulatory Specialist to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love! This role’s primary responsibility will be to support compliance across pet food, animal feed, and EPA-regulated products while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support growth. This role offers meaningful ownership and influence and is ideal for an experienced regulatory professional with deep expertise in FIFRA-regulated pesticide products who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and operates independently with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with FIFRA-regulated pesticide products, EPA registration processes, or related regulatory submissions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in FIFRA regulations,EPA registration pathways,pesticide labeling requirements,state pesticide registration requirements for Section 3 and Section 25(b) products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with regulatory workflow and documentation management tools (e.g., Workfront) preferred.
  • Experience with EPA’s Pesticide Submission Portal (PSP) or similar regulatory submission systems

Responsibilities

  • Executing product registrations, amendments, notifications, state licensing, tonnage and production reporting, labeling approvals, and regulatory submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory risks that could impact product timelines or market access.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of FIFRA, EPA regulations, Section 3, Section 25(b) requirements, and applicable state pesticide regulatory frameworks.
  • Leading and supporting regulatory audits, inspections, and responses to EPA and state regulatory agency inquiries.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes, PR Notices, and guidance documents; assess impact and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance is incorporated throughout the product development process, from concept through commercialization.
  • Reviewing and approving formula reviews, label development, and claims substantiation, including study design and supporting data.
