About The Position

Ready to experience how large-scale engineering and construction projects come to life? As an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Intern at Centrus Energy, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the planning and execution of complex infrastructure and plant projects that support advanced uranium enrichment and facility operations. Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you’ll see how engineering design, procurement coordination, and construction planning come together to deliver mission-critical projects. This internship provides a unique opportunity to understand the full lifecycle of major capital projects while building technical and professional skills that will accelerate your engineering career.   Step into the world of large-scale project delivery and help support the engineering and construction efforts behind critical plant initiatives. As an EPC Intern, you’ll assist engineers and project managers with reviewing design documents, tracking project schedules, supporting technical documentation, and coordinating with procurement and construction teams. You may help analyze engineering data, review drawings and specifications, assist with project reporting, and participate in design, safety, and project coordination meetings. Along the way, you’ll learn how engineering designs transition into real-world construction and operational systems. At the end of the summer, you’ll present your key contributions and lessons learned to the team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or graduate program in mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, or industrial engineering, business, architecture, construction management, or a related field
  • Interest in large-scale engineering projects, construction, or industrial facility operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative technical environment
  • U.S. citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
  • Completion of at least one year of college-level coursework in an engineering, business, or related program
