Ferguson Industrial is currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated EPC Project Management Coordinator to join our Industrial Managed Services team. This role is critical to supporting our EPC business by assisting the Project Management team and ensuring alignment with project specifications and customer expectations. Preferred locations are Richmond, VA; Hampton, VA; Raleigh, NC; Cincinnati, OH; Clarksville, TN; or Swedesboro, NJ, though candidates outside these areas will also be considered for this position. The selected candidate will be required to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • Experience in Industrial Inside Sales or similar experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and focus on quality output.
  • Knowledge of PVF materials and processes.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate commercial and technical specifications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF software.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ability to coordinate several major activities simultaneously.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization
  • Team player with the aptitude for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships with team members, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Project Manager throughout the project lifespan
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, contractors, and owners to ensure on time delivery.
  • Develop and manage multiple project schedules.
  • Monitor progress of overall construction activities.
  • Be on calls with management to review job site issues, work schedules, sub-contractor performance, and workflow efficiency.
  • Organize and schedule regular vendor meetings which provide updates on deliveries, technical issues, documentation, etc.
  • Organize and schedule regular customer updates on all aspects of the project.
  • Help implement suggested changes by either customers or vendors and coordinate appropriate updates to scheduling and other timeline activities.
  • Handle the “day to day” project operations, such as site buys and expediting.
