About The Position

The Epic Radiant Analyst is responsible for the design, build, implementation, testing, and support of the Epic Radiant (Radiology) application. This role serves as a liaison between radiology/end-user departments and the IT team to ensure optimal configuration and workflow alignment with organizational needs and Epic system capabilities. The analyst will work closely with clinical and technical teams to support radiology workflows, improve operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Radiology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of radiology and imaging workflows.
  • Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Epic tools such as Hyperspace, Reporting Workbench, and SmartForms a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epic HB (Hospital Billing) or other Epic modules a plus.
  • Previous experience with EHR implementation or optimization projects.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Epic Radiant.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, ensuring optimal functionality and data integrity.
  • Perform analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation of the Epic Radiant module.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Radiant functionality, including scheduling, imaging workflows, and integration with PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with radiology and imaging departments to assess workflow needs and provide system solutions.
  • Maintain and support the Epic Radiant application post-implementation, including system upgrades and optimizations.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure system integration across Epic modules and other hospital systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Radiant application in a timely and effective manner.
  • Create and maintain documentation for application workflows, build, testing, and training.
  • Provide end-user support and training when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Work with interface teams to support data flow between Epic and external imaging systems (e.g., PACS, RIS).
