The Epidemiology Program Director serves as a senior-level epidemiologist responsible for carrying out a broad and complex range of epidemiologic activities related to the surveillance, detection, and prevention of disease and injuries. Specific public health topics will depend on the objectives of the grant and the unique needs of each community we serve. Working independently and as an experienced team member under the direction of the Epidemiology Center Director, the Program Director leads community-initiated and -driven projects through a community-based participatory research (CBPR) lens, provide expertise in research methods/instruments, and independently conduct analyses. Day trips and overnight travel throughout Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin is a part of the position and is important for building relationships with the communities we serve. The Program Director will lead the TECPHI Grant in our Madison, Wisconsin office.
