About The Position

Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a strong leader and sharp technical mind to join our team as Manager of Equipment Maintenance EPI group. This position is r esponsible for managing the EPI equipment team, which includes equipment engineers, equipment technicians, and contracted field service engineers, supporting 24/7 coverage and all areas of the Fab. Drives continuous improvement in tool availability, cost control, and other department metrics. We are looking for someone with recent, hands-on EPI equipment maintenance experience who will be willing to be a hands on manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business.
  • 8-10 years of maintenance experience on Epi equipment (ASM EPSILON 2000/ LPE PE3061D / AMAT 7700 EPITAXY), or relevant semiconductor equipment.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical capability and experience at intermediate/advance level.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability at managing an area.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient at MS Office Applications
  • Ability to support 24-hour operation.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and positive work environment for all Jireh employees to engage in.
  • Assign personnel and monitor flow of work ensuring production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.
  • Guide team members on manufacturing priorities and balance line needs to other departments within the entire factory process.
  • Incorporate priorities between manufacturing team, engineering, and equipment support staff.
  • Lead team members on consistent safety, quality, cost effective output, and process improvement activities.
  • Develop and motivate a dynamic work force through effective communications and positive role modeling.
  • Administer company policies that directly affect assigned reports.
  • Manage resources and operational activities providing team support and direction.
  • Drive continuous improvements in employee/team development, safety, quality, and cost control.
  • Be accountable to meeting planned metrics.
  • Track and report out daily on yield and output results to plan.
