About The Position

Southern Industrial is looking for an Equipment Operator for a project in Oklahoma City, OK. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating construction equipment.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The primary function of this position is to independently run construction equipment on a project or maintenance site. Equipment can include, but is not limited to, skid steers, forklifts, manlifts, bull lifts, mini excavator, etc.
• Complete required JSA’s.
• Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
• Ability to run and operate various construction equipment, not limited to, skid steers, forklifts, manlifts, bull lifts, mini excavators, etc.
• Perform all necessary safety checks on the equipment per procedures & policy.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
