This position will be responsible for disinfecting, sterilizing and cleaning medical equipment. Our continually expanding organization needs a talented and hardworking individual who is committed to service excellence and have a passion to succeed. In this position you will be collaborating with team members in many departments to grow your mechanical & troubleshooting skills. Working as an Equipment Processor leads to other opportunities within our organization like FSR or Repair Technician roles which are highly sought-after roles within Kreg Therapeutics.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 3rd Shift ( 9pm-6am)
  • Ability to lift and move 50lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check & preliminary/random drug screening.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Open availability.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Fluent in English, bilingual is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Previous custodial or sterile processing experience desired but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Sterilize soiled medical equipment
  • Safely diluting cleaning solutions to sterilize medical equipment
  • Maintain processing area to be clean and organized
  • Report cleaning solution inventory so orders can be submitted
  • Rotating schedule to clean and sanitize the warehouse & offices
  • Assist Field Service Representatives unload soiled equipment from company vehicles
  • Inspect equipment while sterilizing and document damages
  • Notify managers of infection control violations
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs to enter all cleaning verifications
  • Proficient in basic hand tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot air systems for possible air leaks while conducting testing
  • Responsible for laundering components of medical equipment
  • Move heavy equipment safely
  • Other duties as assigned
