About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Aggregates Plant Utility Technician Lead for our
Lake Lynn, PA plant to support a positive safety culture within an aggregate
environment regulated by MSHA compliance and industry standards in our East
Region.  This role is responsible for leading the second shift crew.

Requirements

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds.
• The ability to take directions from a supervisor.
• The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• A maintenance background in crushing and screening
• 2-10 years of experience in aggregates or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Fabrication and welding ability is a plus.
• Part 48 MSHA training a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of personnel on second shift directing a duty and overseeing plant production
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment according to company standards.
• Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor.
• Work on plant equipment such as Conveyors, Screens, Crushers.
• Learn to run crushing and screening equipment along with mobile plant equipment such as loaders and haul trucks.
• Directing and leading a crew on second shift that involves maintenance and production.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
