Meet the Team : The Equipment Technician team at Dexcom plays a vital role in keeping our manufacturing and R&D equipment operating safely, reliably, and at peak performance. You’ll work alongside skilled technicians, engineers, and leaders in a collaborative environment focused on problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and innovation. Every day, your work directly supports the production of life‑changing CGM technology—and positively impacts the lives of people around the world. Where You Come In: You are responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, processes, and/or electronics located in the Production and R&D departments. You prepare and maintain required documentation in RAM, Agile, and Track‑It systems. You support and execute assigned equipment, process, and/or electronics project work and validations as needed. You follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance in all activities. You demonstrate flexibility and are available to work any assigned shift, including weekends, based on business needs. What Makes You Successful: Functional Description – Individual Contributor: You support engineering activities including the design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment. You work with applications involving electronic circuits, photonics, and logic systems. You interpret and execute work using schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal guidance to perform testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and fault isolation. You perform operational testing on systems and equipment and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions for malfunctions. You assist in the design, construction, testing, and checkout of specialized test equipment and experimental systems. You utilize a wide range of manufacturing, test, development, and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus. Functional / Business Knowledge: You have obtained a broad understanding of the role, allowing you to perform a wide range of technical tasks. You apply job‑specific skills, company policies, and procedures to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
