About The Position

As a Equity Compensation Analyst I, you are responsible for managing the equity administration operations and processes for QTS global workforce. You are highly motivated and willing to support a variety of equity administration-related tasks. You are an individual who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Reports to the Equity Compensation Administrator What You Will Do: Collaborate with Payroll, Finance and Benefits team to process all stock vesting events, sales, and redemptions. Respond to employees’ inquiries regarding their stock awards and manage the equity team’s mailbox. Assist in creating standard responses and creating training materials from questions. Assist with all equity-related matters, providing support to employees and maintaining the relationship with the equity system vendor. Help with creation of Standard Operating Procedures for all of the team to follow. Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual equity related events (roll forward/outstanding equity reconciliation, grants, vest, purchases, dividends, terminations/forfeitures, etc.) Work with staffing to track Equity Grants. Participate in projects and assignments, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Audit equity information in all systems and be responsible for accurate reporting in each system. Assist in creating and maintaining educational materials. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive employee and company information. Apply learned techniques/skills and contributes to process improvements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+/- years in equity administration, finance, or HR, particularly in a private company setting.
  • Apply working knowledge of equity administration processes and procedures; identify and escalate potential issues proactively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of various types of equity awards and programs, public and private.
  • General knowledge of Compensation Programs, Pay Components and Incentive Plans.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for employee education.
  • Strong administrative, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for data reconciliation.
  • Ability to multi-task, highly detail-oriented, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and service-oriented.
