About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ERM Manager (Remote). This crucial role will support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program across various business units. The ERM Manager will work to ensure a cohesive approach towards governance, development, execution, and sustainability of the program. This position involves assessing and analyzing operational and strategic risks to ensure they are adequately identified and mitigated. The candidate will also enhance the use of governance, risk, and compliance tools to optimize processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in enterprise risk management or related fields.
  • Experience working in cross-functional roles within complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication skills in team and management settings.
  • Project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a disciplined approach.
  • Proven development experience in programs and methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex technical and business requirements to identify risk management opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the enterprise-wide ERM program.
  • Participate in cross-functional activities to facilitate timely and effective risk-related decisions.
  • Support the management of a community of risk champions across corporate functions.
  • Develop and conduct ERM training programs.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify and assess risks and develop response plans.
  • Contribute to risk management activity reports for senior management.
  • Analyze data reports and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Promote risk management awareness programs.
  • Support the design and testing of governance, risk, and compliance software.
  • Research industry best practices in enterprise risk management.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and selection as needed.
  • Perform quality reviews to enhance program effectiveness.
