General Position Scope: The Escrow Servicing Specialist Lead will be responsible for performing all tasks related to servicing Escrowed Loans. This position will have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Five years’ banking experience with two years’ experience working with any of the following: escrow accounts, loan maintenance, processing loans or working with insurance.
  • General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for paying monthly insurance premiums and annual tax payments.
  • Load escrow information into Silverlake.
  • Establish escrow vendors for escrow payees when needed.
  • Ensure workflow is efficient and that service levels are met daily.
  • Run and review monthly escrow analysis.
  • Cancel tax contracts for loans that have paid off to ensure proper tax reporting.
  • Assist Loan Officers/Loan Assistants and Mortgage Division with all escrow related inquiries.
  • Work closely with Document Processing and Loan Servicing to ensure escrow information is correct.
  • Make sure escrow deposits are received.
  • Contact insurance companies and county tax collectors if information needs to be verified.
  • Serve as liaison with LERETA Tax Reporting Service.
  • Work monthly reports generated and send any required documentation to LERETA.
  • Prepare monthly delinquency reports Credit Administration and load tax delinquency
  • Complete annual reviews for Escrow Servicing Specialists.
  • Schedule vacation and sick time for employees within this area.
  • Assist with training other employees
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
  • Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.
