Espresso Service Technician Mercurys Coffee Co. Eastside / Greater Seattle Area Full Time Pay Range $22.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and technical skill Eligible for overtime in accordance with Washington State law. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Espresso Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial espresso equipment while also supporting general facility maintenance needs across multiple store locations. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving mechanical issues, and working independently in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
  • 2+ years of experience servicing commercial espresso machines preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with brands such as Eversys, Rancilio, La Marzocco, Synesso, Nuova Simonelli or similar preferred
  • Experience with light facility maintenance
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Coffee industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Espresso & Coffee Equipment Repair Diagnose and repair commercial espresso machines including traditional and super automatic models
  • Perform preventative maintenance including gasket replacement, calibration, descaling, and software updates
  • Troubleshoot grinders, water filtration systems, nitro systems, and related café equipment
  • Maintain accurate service logs and repair documentation
  • General Repairs & Maintenance Perform light facility repairs including plumbing fixes, minor electrical troubleshooting, fixture repairs, cabinetry adjustments, and mounting
  • Address maintenance issues before they disrupt operations
  • Coordinate with licensed contractors for specialized repairs when necessary
  • Field Service & Support Travel between store locations to perform on-site repairs
  • Communicate clearly with store managers about repair timelines and equipment status
  • Support new equipment installations and remodel projects
  • Train store leadership on proper daily equipment maintenance
  • Inventory & Parts Track parts usage and maintain organized service kits
  • Assist with warranty documentation and vendor coordination
