About The Position

Espresso Service Technician Mercurys Coffee Co. Eastside / Greater Seattle Area Full Time Pay Range $22.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and technical skill Eligible for overtime in accordance with Washington State law. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Espresso Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial espresso equipment while also supporting general facility maintenance needs across multiple store locations. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving mechanical issues, and working independently in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
2+ years of experience servicing commercial espresso machines preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with brands such as Eversys, Rancilio, La Marzocco, Synesso, Nuova Simonelli or similar preferred
Experience with light facility maintenance
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Coffee industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Espresso & Coffee Equipment Repair Diagnose and repair commercial espresso machines including traditional and super automatic models
Perform preventative maintenance including gasket replacement, calibration, descaling, and software updates
Troubleshoot grinders, water filtration systems, nitro systems, and related café equipment
Maintain accurate service logs and repair documentation
General Repairs & Maintenance Perform light facility repairs including plumbing fixes, minor electrical troubleshooting, fixture repairs, cabinetry adjustments, and mounting
Address maintenance issues before they disrupt operations
Coordinate with licensed contractors for specialized repairs when necessary
Field Service & Support Travel between store locations to perform on-site repairs
Communicate clearly with store managers about repair timelines and equipment status
Support new equipment installations and remodel projects
Train store leadership on proper daily equipment maintenance
Inventory & Parts Track parts usage and maintain organized service kits
Assist with warranty documentation and vendor coordination
