Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of related finance experiences.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proposal cost estimator experience.
  • Current Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Estimating and Cost Volume lead/support on a broad range of small to medium sized proposals in the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) business area.
  • Candidate will develop, plan, and schedule proposal activities in coordination with proposal team.
  • Develops proposals in accordance with RFP specifications, TINA, FAR, DFAR, and company policies and procedures.
  • Will analyze and compile historical data, build cost models and assist in the development of cost estimates to support quick turn pricing exercises.
  • Participates in fact-finding meetings and pricing reviews with management and the customer.
