About The Position

We are seeking a Construction Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the full lifecycle of project proposals—from site visits to final estimates. Requirements

Strong background in commercial construction estimating.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Proficient in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Evaluate client requests and develop detailed, accurate proposals.
Perform construction bidding and cost estimating.
Formulate written schedules of values for proposed work.
Conduct pre-bid site visits and assessments.
Review bid documents and manage the proposal process.
Prepare conceptual scope of work drawings.
Create simple CAD or equivalent drawings for proposals.
Prepare and distribute proposal packages, including all bidding documentation, to solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
Source and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain and update historical cost data and vendor lists.
Read and interpret blueprints proficiently.
Demonstrate knowledge of construction principles and code requirements.
Hold an OSHA 30 certification.
Willingness to travel as needed.
