Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in estimating, systems integration, construction, or low-voltage technology environments
  • Understanding of network cabling, low-voltage systems, security, or wireless deployments
  • Proficiency with estimating tools and documentation using Excel, Quickbase, Bluebeam
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, SOWs, and project documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all calculations
  • Collaborative mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience estimating multi-site retail rollouts
  • Familiarity with vendor pricing programs
  • Exposure to structured cabling or field installation practices
  • Wireless, security, or networking infrastructure experience

Responsibilities

  • Interpret project scopes, drawings, and customer requirements to build accurate estimates
  • Develop proposals for low-voltage, security, networking, wireless, and infrastructure deployments
  • Validate assumptions, identify missing information, and proactively request clarifications
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure scope alignment
  • Create detailed labor, material, and cost breakdowns
  • Maintain documentation for internal review, recordkeeping, and proposal submittals
  • Participate in peer reviews for accuracy and scope validation
  • Engage with customers and vendors when clarification or pricing information is needed
  • Stay current on industry technologies, materials, and best practices to ensure accurate forecasting
