Position Summary The Collision Estimator is responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, creating accurate repair estimates, and managing the repair process from intake to delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and insurance partners and plays a critical role in repair accuracy, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a collision estimator or automotive damage appraiser preferred
  • Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and structural repair standards
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vehicles and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to identify visible and hidden damage
  • Write accurate, detailed repair estimates
  • Photograph and document vehicle damage
  • Work with disassembly technicians and body technicians to ensure all damage is captured
  • Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters to negotiate and secure repair approvals
  • Order parts and ensure correct parts are received
  • Update guests and insurance companies on repair status
  • Manage supplements and additional damage claims
  • Review final repair quality before vehicle delivery
  • Ensure all repairs meet OEM, safety, and insurance guidelines
