About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Evaluation Coordinator with Extension in Las Vegas, NV. The Evaluation Coordinator supports University of Nevada, Reno Extension programs by designing, implementing, and coordinating evaluation, research, and reporting activities that demonstrate program effectiveness and impact. Working under the supervision of the Evaluation Specialist, this position provides technical assistance to Extension faculty and staff in evaluation design, data collection, analysis, and reporting. The role plays a key function in strengthening needs assessments, improving evaluation tools, and enhancing the quality, consistency, and usability of county and statewide reports. The position will also serve as the statewide technical lead for the Program Evaluation and Reporting System (PEARS) implementation and governance to ensure consistent and accurate data collection across all Extension programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR Master’s degree and one (1) year of related work experience
  • Related Experience: Program evaluation, research methods, or social research or a related field.
  • A Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful fingerprinting/background check.
  • Ability to travel occasionally throughout Clark County and Nevada, including potential overnight travel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
