About The Position

We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven, and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join the LifeWise Academy team. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting LifeWise leaders from around the country by providing excellent conference and training events. The Event Coordinator works closely with the team to implement plans, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the overall success of LifeWise Academy’s events. This position will operate out of our headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio (just outside of Columbus). Requirements

  • A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith [https://lifewise.org/statementoffaith/]
  • Active membership in a church in which teaching aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith [https://lifewise.org/statementoffaith/]
  • Proven success as an event coordinator
  • Proficient in the use of Google Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to delegate tasks to meet expectations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal training events and the annual team conference (the LifeWise Summit) from concept through post-event evaluation
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts to ensure excellence in delivery
  • Partner with internal leaders to align event goals, learning objectives, and team experience with organizational priorities
  • Manage event registration platforms and attendee data
  • Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, catering, A/V, staging, materials, travel, lodging, registration, and on-site support
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with venues and vendors
  • Oversee and manage event-day operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for all team members
  • Identify and implement process improvements to elevate event quality, efficiency, and participant experience
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, and health and safety requirements
  • Recruit, train, and coordinate staff and volunteers supporting internal events
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing teams to develop clear and timely event communications and materials
  • Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations, analyze feedback and outcomes, and provide recommendations for future improvements
