Event Planning Manager
About The Position
We're hiring a creative Event Planning Manager: Optimize Your Career in Hospitality Event Coordination! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, from initial planning to execution, to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. The Event Planning Manager serves as a strategic liaison between customers and resort sales professionals, providing expert direction and comprehensive supervision for meeting, conference, and banquet event execution. Will be available to customers during event to solve problems and suggest alternatives to previous arrangements. They will directly serve group and catering customers in a proactive manner working with the logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, public meeting space, and billing processes. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of event management or conference services experience in a full-service or resort setting
- 1-year food and beverage experience
- Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
- Present a professional appearance and confidence
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
- Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Proven Experience with Leading Hospitality Sales CRM Systems (Salesforce, Cvent, Opera)
