About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Prep Cook looking to work in a fast-paced environment. Prep Cooks are responsible for assisting in food preparation at Behind the Scenes offices and onsite at events, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen as well as abiding by food safety regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Flexibility in scheduling and changes.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Small Event Experience
• Must be available weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to work varying shifts based on event schedules and business needs, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Time off requests are considered based on needs of the business and must be submitted no later than two weeks in advance.
• Must be available for all local major projects (Farmers Open, Jewel Ball, Airshow etc.)

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions when preparing ingredients for events.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Ensure timely execution of tasks while at events to keep to timelines.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure the quality of food products.
• Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
