About The Position

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and opening for Guest Services Supervisor at The Greek Theatre. Under direct supervision, Guest Services Supervisors are responsible for supervising floor staff employees. This position will also greet and assist guests at events, also including answering questions and resolving issues that arise. This position represents the facility with outstanding friendly customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 to apply.
  • Received High school diploma or GED; and at least one (1) year customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced diverse environment.
  • Convey strong verbal & interpersonal skills.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time.
  • Ability to deal tactfully in stressful situations and stay calm under pressure.
  • Must have professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all guests with outstanding and friendly customer service.
  • Be knowledgeable of the venue and offer suggestions to patrons to enhance the guest experience.
  • Effectively train, lead, and supervise the Guest Services staff as assigned.
  • Effectively communicate and document escalated customer issues and incidents to Management.
  • Assist Event Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Supervise guest services employees
  • Conduct uniform check on every employee, every event and report deficiencies.
  • Post staff in the positions designated by the Event Manager.
  • Give every employee direction on the specific duties of their post.
  • Ensure staff knows how to use any assigned equipment (i.e., radios), train when necessary.
  • Manage staff breaks, ensuring all breaks are completed per Legends Global policy.
  • Oversee staff during events making sure staff is following all instructions.
  • Enforce Legends Global/Greek Theatre policies.
  • Report violations to the Event Manager.
  • Evaluate and Counsel/Correct staff on job performance, attitude, and uniform each event.
  • Document any issues on paperwork provided by Event Manager.
  • Assist Event Manager and other supervisors when needed.
  • Use outstanding, friendly customer service to address guest issues/problems in a professional manner.
  • Be on time, good attendance is a must.
  • Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic always.
  • Follow all Legends Global / Greek Theater policies so you will be an example to the staff.
  • Carry out all duties assigned by the Event Manager and/or Legends Global Management.
