Our team are also keen runners, cyclists, and triathletes, so we understand the needs of competitors. https://www.destinationsportexperiences.com/ No two days are the same in this exciting role but on a typical day you will: Lead the end‑to‑end development of the Adventure Marathon Race Series website, ensuring the platform reflects the brand vision and supports long‑term growth within the sports and endurance market. Own the creative direction for each Marathon Tours & Travel–owned event brand, building distinctive identities that resonate with global running communities. Help strengthen and manage partner and sponsor relationships, maximizing brand‑building opportunities with sports industry stakeholders. Take full ownership of the project’s email marketing ecosystem, including strategy, design, content creation, list growth, segmentation, analytics, and deployment of both marketing and transactional communications. Oversee and grow multiple social media channels, setting content strategy, tone of voice, engagement goals, and performance metrics tailored to sports audiences. Lead on‑site marketing execution during race weekends, ensuring brand consistency, participant engagement, and alignment with operational delivery. Direct digital advertising strategy in collaboration with our Meta and Google Ads specialists, optimizing campaigns for reach, conversion, and ROI within the endurance sports market. Drive PR and media visibility, working with our PR agency to secure coverage across sports, travel, and lifestyle outlets. Maintain and evolve event websites, ensuring SEO best practices are implemented and continuously improved with support from the Content Manager. Manage content distribution to third‑party sales channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates. Report confidently and proactively on marketing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to the Head of Marketing and Business Development Officer. Assist the Head of Marketing in managing vertical channels and relationships with publishing houses.
