About The Position

The Event Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that every event execution exceeds client and team expectations. You will lead event-day operations across venues, provide on-site leadership to staff, collaborate with internal teams, and support training and process improvement efforts. This role requires a hands-on leader who is confident managing people, problem solving in real time, and elevating the guest experience from load-in to load-out.

Requirements

5+ years of hospitality or event operations experience, including leadership roles
Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
Experience interacting directly with clients, resolving issues, and driving outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
Ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff
Adaptability and composure in a dynamic, event-focused workplace

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead the seamless execution of events from load-in through load-out
Organize, schedule, and manage event-day staff across multiple event venues
Provide on-site leadership, coaching, and recognition to team members
Act as primary client point-of-contact on event day and resolve issues with professionalism
Supervise and develop Banquet Supervisors, ensuring alignment with company goals
Collaborate with vendors and ensure compliance with venue and safety guidelines
Provide post-event debriefs and reports to senior leadership
Assist with training initiatives and documentation of best practices
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operations and customer experience
Complete other duties as assigned
