FRESH PLANT: 1st Shift EVIS Trimmer labor PR03 Job Details: Pay is $17.70 per hour. Utility Job Description : This job is responsible for maintaining flow of product and keeping a sufficient supply of supplies for the area. This job is also responsible for filling in for various line positions/tasks as needed on a daily/hourly basis. Position Title : Trimmer General Job Description : This position will trim in Evisceration. Portions are removed from the belt conveyor as it passes the workstation. Bones, skin and cartilage are removed, and certain portions are placed back onto the conveyor. Position Title : General Labor General Job Description : This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks : Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, supplier, assembler, topper, hand wrapper, packer, stacker, sanitation. Other tasks include standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching. Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds). Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.
