About The Position

Harris Health System is seeking an EVS Floor Tech II to support Correctional Health operations. In this role, you will be responsible for floor care maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across correctional health facilities.
Primary responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, following routine cleaning schedules, and completing both scheduled and unscheduled assignments. You may also assist with general environmental services duties, working independently or as part of a team to maintain facility standards and safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred OR six (6) months of recent hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of diploma/GED
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience
• At least 6 months of hard floor maintenance and restoration experience
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft and PC applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Experience operating floor care equipment including: High and low-speed machines, Walk-behind and riding scrubbers, Burnishers, extractors, and wet vacuums
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
