About The Position

Environmental Services / House Keeper - Floor Tech MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions. Prior EVS experince in a medical setting/environment is required Background check & Drug Screen Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks in accordance with established work routines and under the directions of the Environmental Service Manager. Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance and repair to the physical plant, building, grounds and equipment. These tasks are performed under the general direction of the Plant Operations Director. Responsible for working to achieve excellence in total facility appearance. Requirements

MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.
Prior EVS experince in a medical setting/environment is required
Background check & Drug Screen
The ability to read and implement written instructions and the ability to understand and implement oral instructions.
Ability to operate the floor machine, auto scrubber, vacuum, extraction equipment, washer, and dryer, lawn mowers, other gardening equipment and any other equipment necessary to perform the assigned task.
Knowledge in routine maintenance and complete floor care at a medical facility, including but not limited to carpeting, painting, masonry, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, general mechanics, and gardening.
Basic Computer skills
Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb a 6-foot ladder, lift up to 75 pounds and to withstand the physical strains from the use of all required equipment.
Ability to measure the proper solutions as related to the specific task.
Valid HS Diploma/GED Required.
Previous Environmental Services / House Keeper experience in a medical environment required.
Must handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals in accordance with established safety regulations.
Uses safety precautions in all housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks in accordance with established work routines and under the directions of the Environmental Service Manager.
Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance and repair to the physical plant, building, grounds and equipment.
Responsible for working to achieve excellence in total facility appearance.
Responsible for working within safety structures while performing all tasks.
Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition.
Responsible for daily disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
Assists with housekeeping duties as necessary or assigned.
Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
