About The Position

This position will ensure all areas of the Casino area clean and presentable. As needed, may be required to assist the EVS department leadership with administrative functions of the department. This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest’s and team member records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position. Combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of custodial experience preferred with proven leadership skills.
  • Prior Housekeeping/Environmental Service experience, working knowledge of cleaning solutions and the ability to read and interpret SDS sheets is required.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old and can obtain and retain a Washington State Class II Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen; and have and maintain a driving record that at least meets the minimum requirements established by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel vehicle insurance provider.

Responsibilities

  • All Custodian functions as listed in Custodian job description.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for shift(s) when supervisor in not present.
  • Has working knowledge of and ensures adherence to the Casinos’ safety policies and procedures.
  • Assists subordinate division Team member with guest complaints, incidents, etc., as needed.
  • Understands the Casinos’ Mission Statement and Culture and promotes the same.
  • Knowledgeable of the Casinos’ Disaster Plan and understands his/her role.
  • Participates in the recognition, evaluation, and disciplinary processes for Team Member’s.
  • Assists with the preparation of schedules.
  • Maintains Casino property and equipment.
  • Performs clerical duties as needed.
  • Participates in the training of new team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
