About The Position

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators, in a variety of job site conditions. You’ll be responsible for digging, grading, trenching, and site preparation work in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating excavators or other heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of site safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to complete construction and paving-related tasks.
• Excavate trenches, foundations, and backfill as required.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines.
