About The Position

The Opportunity: Assist with the daily administration and support of Micro sof t Exchange Online and Exchange 2019 on-premises. Support Proofpoint products, including Protection, TAP, TRAP, EFD, PSAT, and SER. Handle escalated email- related support requests from junior team members. Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication, and security issues across Exchange and Proofpoint environments. Perform PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, generate reports, and streamline operational processes. Assist with the Micro sof t 365 Commer cia l to GCC High transition, ensuring minimal service disruptions. Monitor system health and resp ond to incidents and service requests related to email and scheduling. Manage and support Micro sof t Purview data lifecycle management policies , including retention and disposition policies for Micro sof t 365. Support and maintain Micro sof t Purview information protection policies such as sensitivity labels and auto-labeling configurations. Manage email and collaboration policies within Micro sof t Defender for Micro sof t 365, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, safe links, safe attachments, and other email security policies . Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizen ship is required .

Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting Micro sof t Exchange Online and Exchange 2016
Experience with secure email gateways such as Proofpoint Protection
Experience in PowerShell scripting to manage and automate Exchange and Proofpoint tasks
Experience handling email escalations and working in an enterprise IT environment
Ability to troubleshoot for email delivery, authentication, and security issues
HS diploma or GED
U.S. citizen ship is required

Nice To Haves

Experience managing Micro sof t Purview information protection policies , including sensitivity labels and compliance rules
Experience with Azure Active Directory, Ping Federate, ADFS, or other authentication services
Experience in SIEM tools such as Splunk for email and security log analysis
Knowledge of Micro sof t Graph API
Bachelor's degree
Windows Server, Office 365, PowerShell, or Micro sof t Purview Compliance Certification
