About the position

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users. As a Exchange Platforms Specialist, you will drive the global cross-channel go-to-market strategy and commercialization for our sellside products for exchange platforms customers (Agencies, Digital Signal Processing, Supply-Side Platform) with a focus on our Apps partners. You will work closely with Product Managers and Global Partnerships Sales teams to influence the development of new products and features and define strategies to create value for our exchange platforms customers and Google. You will help to shape product direction, maximizing return from existing products, launching new products, and organizing customer feedback. You will commercialize product features to drive adoption with programmatic buyers and bidders. You will act as the product expert for our Exchange Platforms team and clients and empower teams by providing product training, ongoing updates, consulting, and support for client engagements. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of go-to-market strategies for a rapidly changing product and team environment spread across offices around the globe.
  • Work with our product teams to contribute actively to product development and advocate for partners.
  • Set goals for product adoption and work with others to deliver those results.
  • Compile, prioritize, and synthesize market and sales ask into global sales requirements that then drive the product development process.
  • Deliver product training and collaborate with Exchange teams to craft and execute a partner engagement strategy.
  • Translate technical products into benefits for partners, stakeholders, and users.
  • Attend external partner meetings as the authorized buyers and exchange product expert.
  • Cultivate expert knowledge for our programmatic buyers, media landscape, and ad technology.
  • Be a credible voice for partners in product strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in go-to-market, business development, or product specialist in the programmatic space or digital advertising industry.
  • 2 years of experience in consulting, product management, business strategy, operations, or project management.
  • Experience in working with agencies and ad tech providers, or demand side platforms and programmatic media buyers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of advertising and technology products, specifically App advertising technologies.
  • Knowledge of Google's Ads products, sales teams, or service operations as well as the customer related to the programmatic advertising space.
  • Ability to take data and insights and distill them into meaningful and coherent presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while navigating ambiguity throughout the process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex business or technical concepts internally.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
