Job SummaryThe role is for an Executive Chef Purchaser who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of Dining Services. Top priorities are inventory, purchasing, and COGA to ensure all revenue goals are met by controlling food and supply costs, by performing the required duties personally or through supervisors with the help of the Senior Executive Chef. The role will include training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems. This role will assist with the overall direction, coordination, safety, and evaluation of this unit and have supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
