About The Position

Oak Street Health, a CVS Health company, is committed to delivering high-quality care to older adults on Medicare, particularly in underserved communities. We focus on the kind of healthcare you'd want for your own family—personalized, accessible, and effective. Our mission is to rebuild healthcare around wellness and positive outcomes, not volume. Through dedicated care teams, we take the time to understand each patient and provide the support they need to live healthier, fuller lives. We emphasize value-based care, especially full-risk/capitated models, and leverage care management strategies to improve clinical and financial outcomes. Oak Street Health is looking for a strategic and mission-driven Executive Director of Business Intelligence and Performance to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive performance strategy. This role will transform complex data into actionable insights that advance Oak Street’s mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be. Positioned at the intersection of senior leadership, business operations, and field teams, this pivotal leader will drive patient impact through intuitive dashboards and reporting, delivering insights that enable best-in-class care.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in reporting and dashboarding, with familiarity with data warehousing concepts as well as SQL and modern data stack.

  • Data Governance & Quality: In collaboration with business and tech leaders, ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of data. Establish rigorous protocols for metric definitions to prevent ambiguity in performance tracking.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act the nexus between both corporate and field teams to ensure leaders understand business performance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities within center level performance to positively impact financial performance.
