About the position

The Executive Director of Business Product Lead is responsible for owning and driving the strategy for the Revenue Optimization and Management team's technology products. This role involves defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring they align with broader revenue goals. The Director will prioritize product features based on business value and customer needs, serving as the key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. They will lead product development efforts to meet business objectives, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to revenue growth. Key initiatives will include optimizing pricing models, enhancing revenue management tools (such as those from Marriott and Ideas Profit Feed), and developing new technologies to support the company's continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for revenue optimization technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Prioritize product features and requirements to focus development on delivering maximum value and impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, pricing, operations) to ensure successful development, launch, and adoption of new products and features.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive ongoing optimization.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration in product strategy execution.
  • Drive innovation in Data availability and Revenue Management tools, ensuring they support the company's pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Bridge technical and business perspectives to establish a scalable framework for data asset management and future needs.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and enhancement of Revenue Management and Forecasting tools, integrating them into the company's technology ecosystem.
  • Manage the design, build, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business applications, ensuring data consolidation from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with data platform architects to integrate new data sources and technologies seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, operations research or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of prior relevant experience in similar revenue management, analytics or engineering role in a professional environment.
