About The Position

The Executive Director, Market Finance provides strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis functions by managing a team of directors, managers, and financial analysts within the Market Finance organization. Provides guidance on financial strategy, delivers insightful reporting & analytics, and collaborates with Field Operations to drive financial improvement and achieve business objectives. Also ensures accurate financial reporting and contributes to strategic planning and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • 15+ years work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of Store Financial Performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior Field leadership (SVP, VP) based on financial data and trends.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios.
  • Create sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze the financial performance of Divisions, States, or Markets, including lines of business (Front Store, Pharmacy) and expenses (Payroll).
  • Establish financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
