The Executive Operations Intern will work closely with IMEC’s President to support strategic initiatives, organizational operations, and engagement with Illinois manufacturers. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to executive leadership while learning how a nonprofit organization drives impact across the manufacturing sector. The Intern will assist in communication, research, data analysis, and operational coordination efforts that support IMEC’s mission to help small and mid-sized manufacturers grow and compete globally. This is an ideal opportunity for a student interested in business, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering who is eager to gain hands-on experience and insight into industry trends and organizational strategy. While each internship term is flexible, students who demonstrate strong performance and interest may have the opportunity to extend their experience and take on new responsibilities across multiple terms. Through this internship, the Intern will: Gain direct exposure to executive leadership and organizational strategy Develop skills in research, communication, and data analysis Build an understanding of nonprofit operations and the manufacturing ecosystem in Illinois Strengthen professional skills including critical thinking, organization, and collaboration
