About The Position

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the company in providing protection for the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and when necessary executive leadership. Associate will complete domestic and international travel, conduct protective advances, perform building security surveys, analyze intelligence, advance corporate event sites, partner with law enforcement, manage and conduct control tactics training, and oversee training matters for global security staff. Associate will institute and manage a Technical Security Counter Measure program. This role is critical to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our leadership and associates no matter where an event is held. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide executive protection service for the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Provide executive protection service for executive leadership Plans, coordinates, and ensures personal protection throughout facilities, residences, airfields, off-site events, and ground and air transportation. Conduct advances for domestic and international trips Monitor access to executive level Chesapeake offices and meeting areas Complete building security surveys as required for CEO visits Partner with corporate events and complete site security surveys for designated events Assessing threats and making recommendations for improving security procedures Liaison with local law enforcement Ensures camera and alarm matters for identified sites are functional and is working as required Develop and institute a training program for protective responsibilities that includes but is not limited to firearms, control tactics, medical, and other related tasks

Requirements

  • 7-year supervisory Experience in either law enforcement, military and/or security field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in providing personal protection to an individual in various environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge & experience in criminal law & procedure and use of force continuum
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting domestic and international security
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting site security advances for major events
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in creating training curriculums and instructing
  • Excellent communications skills & ability to engage with all levels of internal / external customer
  • Professional appearance representing the brand
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Concealed Carry permit
  • Valid Passport
  • Travel 40%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience liaison with local, federal, and state law enforcement agencies
  • ASIS International certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • Training in defensive driving, defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, and covert protection.
  • First Responder, Paramedic or EMT certifications
