About The Position

GOH is a small management consulting firm supporting the federal government since 1997 (www.gohnow.com). GOH is recruiting in anticipation of potential future openings that are subject to final approval and funding. No guarantee of position availability can be made at this time; however, candidate identification and preliminary interviews are being conducted to support timely hiring should authorization be granted. We are seeking a skilled Executive Secretary to manage high-level administrative affairs and operational workflows for the client, ensuring the organization maintains seamless daily coverage and strategic engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of professional writing and editing experience, including 3 years drafting official policies and internal/external correspondence.
  • Minimum 5 years in project management or administrative coordination within a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to communicate with a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry-specific experience required

Responsibilities

  • Independently coordinate administrative tasks and oversee designated operations to ensure effective document management and office efficiency.
  • Develop and complete official correspondence, memos, and policies that demonstrate a mastery of professional grammar and tone.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in measuring and assessing social media, web, and other relevant metrics to inform and adjust the client's communication strategy.
  • Facilitate and fully coordinate complex interviews, meetings, and panels, maintaining professional communication with external stakeholders and staff.
  • Manage the client’s calendar by prioritizing and deconflicting appointments based on mission urgency.
  • Ensure all communications and documents comply with federal requirements, including the "Plain Writing Act of 2010" and Section 508 compliance.
  • Independently maintain and update templates, distribution lists, and operational resources for the client.
  • Supervise the entry and formatting of information into databases and tracking systems to produce sophisticated reports and presentations.
