About The Position

A Customer Service Representative supports the organization by telephone, fax,or email by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of orderinformation in a timely manner. This role Initiates and/or implements correctiveaction as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and ahigh level of customer satisfaction are maintained.

  • Ability to work full-time, and according to Branch warehouse needs, Monday through Friday 7AM – 4PM, overtime may be required.
  • This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, etc.
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
  • Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office suite( excel) .

Responsibilities

  • Support the Shipping Supervisor with preparation of daily truck sheets, route orders, and customer pickup orders.
  • Monitor the ODD report daily to ensure all orders due are processed on time, consistently maintaining at least a two-day advance review.
  • Track and manage back-ordered items, communicating updates effectively with the Customer Service Manager and Order Entry team.
  • Complete start and end tickets for all work orders turned in each day, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
  • Schedule common carrier shipments promptly once orders are ready for dispatch.
  • Maintain accuracy while multitasking and prioritizing competing deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Perform other related duties and provide back-up support to other group members as assigned by management.
