The Purchasing Expeditor assists in managing various purchasing and inventory tasks. The successful candidate will be open to learning purchasing practices and assist the Purchasing Manager in purchase order follow-up and various other clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Familiarity with purchasing/inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, ERP, D365 and/or MRP software.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment encompassing company growth and change.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Contact vendors, manage delivery dates, and resolve delivery issues.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring stock levels, maintain records, and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Documentation: Reconcile packing slips with orders, handle correspondence, and maintain purchasing records.
  • Research & Analysis: Reach out to vendors for quotes, and sourcing new suppliers/products.
  • Other job duties as required.
