About The Position

The primary function of this position is to contribute and maintain the production of Sortrak orders. This will involve troubleshooting and problem solving any issue that interferes with efficiency in their assigned area of Sortrak production.

Requirements

• Reading and writing literate
• Working knowledge of computers including AS400
• Working mathematical knowledge
• Able to walk, stand or lift for entire shift
• Ability to maintain work flow between employees and management when completing orders
• Good communications skills
• Able to take directions from Supervisors/Managers

Responsibilities

• Production in their assigned Sortrak area
• Assist peers with production concerns
• Detailed knowledge of WM and SDI systems
• Run queries and reports for Sortrak team
• Effective application of LEAN principles
• Timely completion of 5S audits
• Timely communication and follow up on maintenance requests (i.e. belt jams)
• Timely communication of production issues to lead and supervisor
• Identification and communication of safety hazards or concerns in assigned area
• Ensure assigned work area is clean from dust and debris
• Keep Sortrak running at all times in the assigned work area
• And any other duties as specified by supervisor.
