Requirements

  • Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Ability to be flexible in scheduling to meet operational needs
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Valid WA State Food Handlers Permit
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Must have WA state Food Worker Card or the ability to obtain one within 14 days from the date of hire

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assisting server when necessary
  • Keeping supplies stocked for business, including linen, glassware, and silverware
  • Engaging in conversation and using the guests’ name whenever possible
  • Maintaining a clean work area throughout the shift, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Reading, understanding and practicing hotel policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Keep order organized when the order leave the kitchen
  • Handling alcohol order
  • Actively practices safety procedures in bar
  • Following proper dish room procedures by sorting glass, linen, silver and china in separate bins
  • Communicate effectively with managers about needs and concerns
  • Have a current Food Handlers permit
  • The ability to follow new policies and procedures from the management team
